Our prices are based on the incoming, dirty weight of your fiber and include all standard processes required to produce the requested product.  If we believe that an additional process is required to produce the best product or to protect our equipment, we will perform this process and charge accordingly.  Prices are subject to change without notice.  (Of course, you will be charged the price that was in effect the date that we received your fiber or called to have your name placed on our list.)

Skirting

• If we determine that we must skirt your fiber, we will charge you $ 25 per hour.

Minimum per individual blanket/fleece

• We are delighted to create a product from the fiber from individual animals--that is the advantage of mini-mill processing!  However, when processing an individual blanket/fleece, we will charge the cost for processing 2 pounds, even if your individual blanket or fleece weighs less than 2 pounds.

Processing for sheep’s wool/mohair

• Clouds    $11 / lb. (includes washing, picking and fiber separating)

The following products include washing, carding, picking and up to two passes through the fiber separator.  Each additional washing or pass through the fiber separator that we deem necessary will cost $5 / lb.

• Batting       $11.50 / lb.

• Roving       $11.50 / lb.

• Rug Yarn    $16 / lb.

• Yarn (2-ply or 3-ply)

Processing for huacaya alpaca and llama

• Clouds    $13 / lb. (includes washing, picking and fiber separating/dehairing)

The following products include washing, carding, picking and up to two passes through the fiber separator.  Each additional washing or run through the fiber separator that we deem necessary will cost $5 / lb.

Processing for suri alpaca/llama

• Add $2.00 per pound to each end product that is more than 80% suri alpaca or suri llama fiber.

Skeins or Cones

• Yarn will be put on cones, unless you have specified skeins.  Skeins will be wound to your specifications at $1.00 per skein.
• We wash all skeins before we return them to you at no additional cost.

Dyeing

• Raw fiber or yarn can be dyed at the cost of $1.25 per ounce.  Please call for a color selection.

Blending

• We are able to blend fibers.  There is a $3 per pound fee (based on the total clean weight of the fibers) to blend fibers, as well as the cost of any fibers that we provide.

We require payment of 50% of the estimated cost at the time we check in your order and payment in full upon completion of your order.  For large orders, we will request payment as we complete part of the orders.  We accept Visa, Mastercard, cash, and personal checks.  We will call you before we begin processing your order.
